I’m Hadley Luddy, and I'm running for State Representative of the 4th Barnstable District.

 

I’ve lived in our district full-time for 26 years and owned a home in Orleans since 2001. I have 3 kids, all of whom have attended the Nauset Public Schools– where my youngest is in 9th grade.

My 25-year career has spanned many areas of our safety net and has been rooted in services that support community needs. I've held leadership and executive roles with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, Community Connections- serving the needs of disabled adults - and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands.

In 2016, I became CEO of the Homeless Prevention Council (HPC) which now serves more than 2300 people each year in the 4th district. We serve our community as frontline “boots on the ground” addressing the housing crisis head-on. We work primarily with people who are working part and full time– and struggling to find a way to live on the Lower & Outer Cape.

I’ve spent the past 26 years making our community stronger and all of these experiences translate into what will make me an effective State Representative on day 1.
