My name is Jackie Goldman (they/them) and I am running to be the next city councilor of Providence's Fifth Ward. This city has been mismanaged for far too long and we need new leaders who believe that our city deserves more. As an overdose-prevention researcher and community organizer, I have seen how everyday people in Providence do not have access to basic resources that they need to live healthy lives. I want to make sure that everyone in our community has access to well-maintained streets and sidewalks, affordable housing, and quality public education regardless of where they live. To win this race, I need support from people like you.
