Jarrett is a lifelong resident of the Illinois 104th District and proud third generation farmer. He is the Business Manager of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 601 and Vice-President of the East Central Illinois Building Trades Council. Being elected to the Parkland Community College Board in 2021 has also helped him work to enhance occupational and vocational training in the district.
