Public service is about more than just party affiliation. We need people to run who represent their constituents, who live and work in their districts and who understand what their constituents are going through.
I was appointed last year to District 4 of the McLean County Board. I grew up in District 4. I attended Unit 5 and went to both Fairview Elementary and Parkside Jr. High which are both in the district. Jenni and I chose to relocate here and raise our family.
We need to move forward as a community by addressing the mental health needs of all of our residents, acquiring the affordable housing we are so badly lacking for seniors and our young families that are trying to get and stay on their feet, and also preserve public lands for recreation.
We have so many opportunities coming to McLean County: expansion of ISU and Heartland CC, and continued expansion and investments at Ferrara. On top of that we are leading the state in green energy jobs between Rivian, Wind Farms and soon Solar Farms all being built here by local workers!
We need to continue to move ahead as a county, and I need your help to fund my campaign.
