Karen Showalter is the Black Hawk County Elections Manager and is running to succeed her boss, County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections Grant Veeder, who is retiring at the end of this year.
Exercising the right to vote is a fundamental right and a core belief of hers. It is how we have a say on issues that matter to us. It gives us a choice in who represents us.
Karen is running for County Auditor to continue the hard work of maintaining our free, fair and accessible elections in Black Hawk County.
