Contribution rules
1-I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
2-I am at least eighteen years old.
3-If I am making a contribution then I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.Note: For this mayor's race, an eligible contributor cannot surpass more than $4,000 in contributions.
4-If my business is making a contribution, then it's my business funds that's making the contribution and not funds from my personal account. Note that a business entity can only contribute up to $500. If the business wants to contribute more than $500 then that business must be registered with Campaign spending as a non-candidate committee. If you would like to contribute more than $500 from your business, please contact the candidate or treasurer for more information on how to be registered as a non-candidate committee.
5-I am NOT contributing as a nonprofit. Note that section 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from participating as an entity in any political campaign.
6-I (as an individual or sole proprietor) am not currently entered into any contract with the State of Hawaii, any of its counties, or any of their departments or agencies.
