A US Army combat veteran and now a shellfisherman on Cape Cod, Paul’s life has been about service.

After graduating from college, Paul served as Vice President Al Gore’s personal aide in the West Wing for four years,

Paul continued his service in California, directing an effort to expand citizen access to solar power. Hs fondest and most impactful effort in CA was his work to improve student access to gang intervention programs in South Central and Watts.

Paul served in the U.S. Army from 2010-2015 with the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Lewis, and deployed four times to Afghanistan.

After the Army, Paul received a Pat Tillman Scholarship to attend Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and graduated with a Masters in Public Administration in 2017.

Barnstable has been home base for Paul since 2009. He returned to the Cape full time in 2017. Paul’s career-long focus on public service has led him to seek public office as a way to continue to serve his community, fellow citizens, and the working families of Massachusetts.
