I believe education should begin at birth and continue through adulthood. I will be part of expanding programs that promote growth.

The cost of living is outpacing the salary increases for our teachers and staff. Let's find a way to supplement salaries to keep pace with local housing, gas, health care and groceries.

Students deserve unlimited access to reading material that will educate, inspire and entertain them. I don't care what they read. Give them the books. Once you can read, you can spring anywhere.

Public tax dollars belong in public schools, not misappropriated from the General Fund for costly vouchers that result in no accountability.
