Amy is the Vice Mayor of the City of Alexandria, Virginia and is serving her 2nd term on the Alexandria City Council. Raised in Alexandria, Amy is a graduate of T.C. Williams High School (ACHS) and is the first "Lady Titan" to serve as an Alexandria City Councilwoman and now as the Vice Mayor. Amy is a career educator with extensive experience in public school settings as a classroom teacher, core curriculum team leader, coach, school-improvement plan facilitator, and school-based administrator. Amy continues to serve her hometown of Alexandria as a community advocate, non-profit leader, and is appointed to several city boards and commissions.
