Students Can Win the Midterms

There is one time of year better than any other for registering new voters: Back-to-school!

The back-to-school period (every day from now until the election) is like the Burning Man of voter registration. You just look at someone funny, and they get registered. And that’s why we’re launching Rush Week for Democracy – a project that could win elections across the country. 

The core of this project is geofencing colleges. We’re kicking off the project by geofencing the campuses of the 4 biggest HBCUs in Georgia – that means for about 3 days, whenever a student physically sets foot on campus, their phone will be sent a social media ad from us. An ad that urges them to elect Governor Stacey Abrams and Senator Rev. Warnock, and takes them directly to the official voter registration page for Georgia. And we’ll send hypertargeted social media ads to these zip codes, reaching them from all possible angles.

To win the midterms, we need to expand this program to as many HBCUs and other colleges as possible across our 9 swing states! We have the strategy. We have the know-how. The only thing we’re missing is the funding. Can you help?

In our many tests, this has been a consistent success. We average 81 cents for each click. So every $10 you donate gets 12 more students to click our registration link. $100 would get 120 students to click through!

These next two and a half months will decide the fate of our democracy. Make ‘em count!
