Standing up for Maine people

As a Senator, Colleen Lachowicz has stood up for those who don't have the time to stand up for themselves. She helped lead the fight for the expansion of health care to uninsured Maine people. Her bill to expand autism coverage for people from ages 5-21 will fill a desperate need for our children. And she accomplished that which many have failed at over the last few budgets: her leadership helped get state employees a well-deserved raise.

As a social worker, Colleen has long understood the value of all Maine's people. Everyone deserves a seat at the table, and to be heard. That's why she worked hard to ensure that people in her district who didn't normally engage the political process were there with her in the State Senate, promoting causes near and dear to their hearts, such as raising the minimum wage so they can earn a living.

Now Colleen needs our help as she works to help expand the Democratic majorities in the Legislature, and replace our governor with someone who will work for Maine people, not for moneyed interests. We can count on her to invest countless hours to ensure Democratic successes, but it will take more than just her time to win. Can she count on your support?
