Access to abortion in Mississippi has been challenging for decades. In 2019, a 15-week abortion ban became the latest in a long line of state-level restrictions.
On December 1st, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson, a case challenging that 15-week ban. A conservative ruling in Dobbs has the potential to overturn Roe v. Wade, setting off a tidal wave of restrictions and outright bans.
