Fund Our Fellows

What We’re Doing

With over 20,000 college students in our focus area at Illinois State University in Illinois’s 17th Congressional District, we’re tapping into the most progressive — and often overlooked — voting bloc.

Our Campus Vote Fellows are hitting high-traffic spots on campuses, asking students to pledge to text five friends to vote. Then, as we get closer to Election Day, our fellows will be back — this time getting those texts sent right then and there while interacting with students. And on Election Day itself, they’ll be outside polling places, ensuring every vote counts.

Why It Matters

In close elections, every vote makes a difference. Our strategy is simple, effective, and backed by evidence: when students show up, democracy wins. College students are low-propensity voters, often missing elections. Our fellows are there to ensure no one is left behind and progressives win.

How You Can Support
