As students head back to campus this fall, Citizen Action/Illinois is kicking off one of our most important seasons of work: helping young people find their voice in our democracy.
Our Campus Vote Fellows program is built on a simple idea: civic engagement doesn't start when someone turns 30 or buys a house. It starts now, on college campuses, in dorm rooms and dining halls, where students are already talking about the issues that shape their lives.

Right now, a team of five fellows is hard at work at Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal, registering classmates to vote, hosting events, and making sure their peers know their voices matter. This fall, we're expanding to Western Illinois University in Macomb, reaching even more students across the state.
But none of this happens without support. Every fellow needs voter registration materials, event supplies, transportation, and outreach tools to reach as many students as possible before registration deadlines and Election Day arrive.
Here's how your donation helps:
Every dollar you give directly powers a young voter's ability to make their voice heard. Thank you for investing in the next generation of Illinois voters!
