We all want our money to go to where it can do the most good. We want it to help win close races that can swing the balance of power to Democrats at the federal and state levels. CA-22–currently held by Republican David Valadao–is one of the most competitive U.S. House races in the country and critical to flipping the House this November.
Voters will choose the official Democratic nominee in the June primary. Then Swing Left will quickly transfer these funds directly to the nominee, giving them an essential infusion of funding as they kick off the general election campaign.
Donating effectively requires research and that's one of Swing Left National’s many strengths. They monitor state- and national-level polling results, fundraising numbers, and other data. They advise us on directing donations so money will be most effective, and CA-22 is one of their target “flippable” districts.

- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- Your contribution to a nominee fund will be held in escrow by ActBlue until a Democratic candidate is nominated in the congressional district for which you selected. Your contribution will be forwarded to the Democratic nominee within ten days of their nomination. In the unlikely event that no nominee is selected, your contribution will revert to ActBlue and will be considered as a contribution to ActBlue.
