Urbandale Area Democrats: Fundraising For Change

Nearly a decade ago, local volunteers and leaders came together to create a community of Democrats in Urbandale. Today, the Urbandale Area Democrats is a strong and successful group creating change our neighborhoods. Working alongside motivated candidates and networks in Polk and Dallas counties, we've helped elect Democrats to local and state office again and again. We’ve seen election victories even when Democrats faced uphill battles both in Iowa and around the nation. This success is no coincidence. We’ve built strategies here in Urbandale that work, and it’s more important than ever to make sure we continue reaching voters effectively as democracy erodes under current state and federal leadership.

That’s why we’re asking you to help support us with a financial donation during our 2026 Fundraising for Change Campaign. Your donation will help fund the educational materials we use to reach new and existing voters and make sure they're prepared to vote, along with supplies for our voter registration booths. Donation dollars will also support our monthly meetings, where we gather as a community and build solidarity as Democrats.

If you are currently a recurring donor, the easiest way to update your monthly donation is to click on the hyperlinked "Order Number" in your most recent ActBlue email receipt. You should receive an email receipt each month. Find the order number listed on the receipt, click on it, and click "View & Edit Details" in the green box near the top of the page. Click "Edit Contribution", and use the prefilled box to increase your existing amount.
