Hi there,
I'm hosting a campaign event at Funky Murphy's on Thursday, June 5th at 5pm, and I'd love for you to join me.
Growing up on the East Side and graduating from North High, I've watched our city change—some for the better, but too much that leaves our neighbors behind. When I lost my ability to walk in college, it opened my eyes to how many barriers exist in our community, and it's driven everything I've done since.
From starting Friends of Lake Park to chairing the Worcester Together Affordable Housing Coalition, and most recently, becoming vice chair of the Worcester Human Rights Commission, I've learned that real change happens when we bring people together and fight for what's right.
But here's the thing—I can't do this alone. I need neighbors like you who are tired of watching rents skyrocket while developers get handouts, who are frustrated by dangerous crosswalks and crumbling sidewalks, and who want a City Councilor who's actually accountable to you, not special interests.
This isn't going to be some stuffy political event. It's a chance to grab a drink with your neighbors, share what's on your mind, and connect with people who believe in Worcester. People who believe Worcester should be a place where seniors can afford to stay, young families can put down roots, and everyone feels safe in their neighborhood.
Whether you're dealing with rising property taxes, worried about your kids walking to school, or just want someone on the Council who will actually listen—I want to hear from you.
Come as you are, bring a friend, and let's talk about how we build a Safe and Affordable Worcester together.
Hope to see you there,
Robert Bilotta
