The Young Democrats of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Sarasota are so excited to bring the 2026 Florida Young Democrats Convention to the beautiful Tampa Bay!

Dates: July 24th - July 26th, 2026

Primary location: St Petersburg, Florida

But this won't be your average political convention filled with dull panels and polite politics.

We're bringing the Florida Young Democrats back to our roots: the SWAMP.

Gritty. Determined. Unfiltered.

This weekend is built for activists, organizers, campaign staff, candidates, and fighters doing the hard work on Florida's front lines. We're creating a weekend focused on real organizing, strategy, and power-building for the future of our state.

Here's what you can expect:

• Skill-based trainings led by nationally recognized organizers and Florida powerhouses
• Strategies for red and rural counties
• Candidate 101 trainings for future leaders
• Grassroots fundraising workshops
• And so much more!
