The Fairfax Young Democrats (FYD) are heading to the Virginia Young Democrats Convention in Hampton Roads, where young leaders from across the Commonwealth will gather to organize, train, and build the future of the Democratic Party.
At convention, our delegates will participate in leadership development workshops, policy discussions, campaign trainings, and strategy sessions with organizers, elected officials, and Democratic leaders from across Virginia.
These experiences directly strengthen our ability to:
• Organize voters in Fairfax County
• Support Democratic candidates up and down the ballot
• Build the next generation of Democratic leaders
However, attending convention comes with costs like registration, travel, and lodging. We want to ensure that every young Democrat who wants to attend has the opportunity, regardless of financial barriers.
