When I emigrated to the U.S. from Cameroon over 20 years ago I had only $100 to my name. Over the years I have been helped by perfect strangers to get on my feet. I became a successful Information Technology Professional, a successful Entrepreneur and obtained my Law Degree with the help of student Loans. My story, like many others, is a testament to the promise of the American dream. These acts of generosity instilled in me the importance of paying it forward and uplifting those around us.

That’s why I’m running for Congress, to step in for working class people and be their voice as someone who has experienced and lived through hardship. And to make sure that the priorities of District 4 are heard at Capitol Hill and that we push forward collaborative solutions to our most pressing future challenges.

What I am fighting for:

-Education (Make our schools a better environment for our students to learn and our teachers to teach.

-Increase minimum wage to $20

-Increase wages for our Health- Care professionals so they can work 8hrs instead of 16hrs with higher pay. So they can have time to take care of their own families, help their own kids do their home work and take a vacation

-Higher pay for our Teachers, Police officers and Fire Fighters

-A Safer Community- Crime

-Fierce fighter for Women's right to choose

-The Opioid Crisis

-Immigration Reforms- Make it easier for immigrants who are fleeing from tyranny, oppression and or hunger and brave the high seas and the jungles risking their lives to integrate into the American system and start contributing to society because this is the reason why they came to America-Land of the free in the first place. Like Fred Douglas said in his 5th of July speech in 1852 " Give them a chance"

-Eradicate Homelessness - No one in America should be Homeless. I don't want to walk around and see our veterans holding signs that says, " I am homeless or I dont have food to eat"

-Reduced Regulations and make it easier for people to start their own business.
