I am going to Georgia to canvass for four days with support from Seed the Vote, and I’m calling on my network of friends and family to support me with a gift that is meaningful to you! After Trump’s announcement that he will run for President in 2024, Seed the Vote is grounded in what comes next - HELLO Georgia! They are determined to defeat Trump-backed candidate Herschel Walker, who is running against Senator Rev. Raphael Warnock in the Georgia senate run-off election on December 6th. Seed the Vote follows the lead of our grassroots partner organizations in Georgia, with a vision of building collective movement power, as we do this work. Winning this 51st senate seat for democrats will open up opportunities—from legislation to federal appointments—for us to organize for big change. Funds raised will go directly toward travel, lodging, and local transportation for volunteers like me to door knock and talk to voters in Georgia. I estimate that Seed the Vote's total expenditure for my trip specifically will be approximately $142 for a hotel room for each of my three nights in Georgia.
