Membership Pledge
GAPIMNY is an all-volunteer organization; dues are not used to directly compensate volunteers. 100% of your financial support goes back into the community by:
- Keeping the majority of our programming free or discounted
- Funding our mutual aid fund to give back to community members
- Increasing and sustaining our capacity to spread awareness of important issues and initiatives
Under our membership model, we kindly suggest a monthly donation of $2, but please feel empowered to pay as much or as little as you can. By becoming a member, you can:
- Vote for who is on the steering committee
- Suggest events for the committee to organize
- Have the opportunity to organize your own event with the steering committee's help and oversight
- Be considered to travel on behalf of GAPIMNY to conferences attended by other queer and trans people of color organizations
You can manage your membership at any time within ActBlue, including changing your contribution amount or canceling at any time.
If you are a member and would like to organize something with / become more involved with the steering committee, please get in touch with us in person at an Elixir or a future event.

- This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
