Gays for David Hosted by Jake Cornell

Hey diva—

New Yorkers have been through a hell of a summer—heat waves, subway floods, and zillion-dollar Con Ed bills—but now it’s time for the Fall…. The Fall of New York’s conservative political Establishment.

Thursday October 22, 2026

6-8:30pm

Singers (30 Kosciuszko St, Brooklyn)

Please join Jake Cornell on the evening of October 22 for an event supporting David Orkin’s insurgent campaign for the State Assembly. David is an immigrants’ rights attorney, and he’s running to represent working class neighborhoods of southwest Queens in the State Assembly. David is a champion of climate justice, housing justice, and healthcare for all, and if he wins in November, he’ll be a strong ally of Zohran’s agenda in Albany.

The event will be held 6-8:30 at Singers (30 Kosciuszko St, Brooklyn). See you there!

Unable to make it? Please donate to the campaign by adding a contribution of any size in the form below. Early voting runs from Oct 24 - Nov 1, and we have twice as many voters to remind to vote — every dollar makes a major difference towards driving high participation in our politics!

Jake Cornell, our esteemed party host, is a world-touring comedian based in NYC. He has been featured in The Cut, New York Magazine, and Vogue. You can find him on Instagram and TikTok.
