Prop 50, the Election Rigging Response Act, temporarily requires new congressional district maps to be used through 2030, after which California’s independent Citizens Redistricting Commission will resume its nonpartisan mandate.
The Community Water Center Action Fund is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization formed to ensure that all communities have access to safe and affordable drinking water.
As of September 20, the Center is deploying six canvassers working 25 hours/week to help pass Prop. 50. At $24/hour, that’s an expense of $600/week. The more we raise, the more canvassers they can hire not only to pass Prop. 50, but to further the mission of CWC in general and to flip CD22’s particularly vulnerable congressional seat.
$24 = 1 hour of canvassing
$48 = 2 hours
$120 = 1 day
$240 = 2 days
$360 = 3 days
$600 = 1 week
$1200 = 2 weeks
$2640 = 1 month
