GenVote Rising Fundraiser Party

Since our 2022 relaunch, GenVote has grown into a national, youth-led organization sparking an intersectional youth movement for voting rights and a just democracy for all. Over the past three years, we've expanded our base to over ten states and Washington D.C., establishing ourselves as a leading force in the youth pro-democracy movement. As our generation continues to face unprecedented attacks on voting rights and our democracy, like a phoenix, we must rise to the moment and spark a bold cross-class, multiracial movement of young people raising the urgency of this crisis and advancing a new vision for a democracy that works for all of us.

To kick off 2026, join us for our first "GenVote Rising: A Movement Fundraiser" on February 3rd, 2026 at Sugar Mouse NYC (47 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10003) from 6:30 - 9:00 PM --where we will celebrate our movement achievements and announce our 2026 programs over fun games, live music and key speakers. Doors will open at 6:00 PM.

We have an exciting line-up of guest speakers and talented youth artists:

  • Anatola Araba, award-winning filmmaker (Forbes 30 under 30)
  • Kai Diata Giovanni, 2025 NYC Youth Poet Laureate
  • MARGIN the Band, youth indie rock band
  • LaJuan Allen, Vote16 USA Executive Director

Each ticket will directly support our grassroots programs and include 2 drink tickets, food, and access to gaming areas ( a dozen free retro arcade games, pool, foosball, shuffleboard and darts). Must be 21 years or older to use drink tickets for house beer/wine or cocktails.

Please note: All tickets are supporting GenVote Action, our 501 c(4) wing of our movement. There will be opportunities to donate to our c3 and c4 at the event venue. If you'd like to make a c3 contribution, please reach out to Brendan Cushing at bcushing@genvote.org
