Help elect young leaders

REAL Action Inc. (RAI) is a non-profit organization that is focused on recruiting, aiding and electing members of generation z into political offices.

Our organization provides strategy, advice, and support to candidates free of charge, from the day they express their interest in running until they take their oath of office. Our mission is to increase youth representation in political positions to help shape a better future for ourselves and the generations to come.

What We’ve Done

RAI was founded by Andrew LaBerge and Brayden Karpinski, two student activists who are frustrated with the lack of youth representation in government.

Recognizing the barriers of entry that prohibit progress, RAI assisted in electing Diego Carney to local office in Washington, DC, Justin Tseng to City Council in Medford, MA, and Cobi Frongillo to Franklin, MA's Town Council.

Where We’re Heading

RAI is working to elect a dozen young people running for local office across the country. In collaboration with their partners, they are striving to provide the support not commonly offered to local candidates.

Recruiting and Training: We help identify young people who are interested in running for political positions, and we provide training and support to help them succeed.

Strategy and Advice: We provide strategic guidance and advice to candidates, helping them develop their campaigns and connect with voters.

Ongoing Support: We provide ongoing support throughout the entire campaign process, from the announcement of their candidacy to election day.
