GYJC for Action

Donate to GYJC for Action's 2023 Work!

GYJC for Action is an arm of the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition - the largest youth organizing movement in the state. In 2022, we had face-to-face conversations with over 60,000 young voters, stopped Don't Say Gay legislation in Georgia's legislature, secured hundreds of millions of funds for public schools statewide, defeated every book ban in Georgia, and trained over 1,000 young Georgians to become skilled changemakers. We secured early voting sites in the general and runoff elections on college campuses serving over 130,000 voters, and led the youth vote coalition to re-elect Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock.

We train and activate the next generation of changemakers from Atlanta to Albany.

Last year, we paid an average wage of $19 to our hundreds of organizers, spending 95% of all funds raised last year to pay our organizers. In 2023, we're doubling down on our impact. We're investing in LGBTQ+ youth rights, Black Student Unions across the state, transformative narrative shifts, deep political education, and legislative victories for public education.

Your donations sustain our ability to build power, organize youth, and earn a fair wage while we work. Thank you for your contribution!
