Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Under federal election law, individuals (and non multi-candidate PACs) may contribute a maximum of $7,000 per election cycle to a federal candidate, with $3,500 allocated for the primary election and $3,500 for the general election. Under federal election law multicandidate PACs may contribute a maximum of $10,000 to each federal candidate per election cycle, with $5,000 allocated for the primary election and $5,000 for the general election. Federal law also requires us to collect and report the name, mailing address, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 per election cycle. Contributions or gifts to “Beth Farnham for Congress” are not tax-deductible for income tax purposes. Only personal, partnerships, and political action committee checks please, we are unable to accept any corporate funds.
