MAGA came after one of our biggest donors and now they're pulling our funding

Get Free is building a youth-led movement to movement to repair past harms, remove ongoing barriers to equality, and realize a future where freedom is for all.

Last week, one of our major foundational donors withdrew their grant to us out of fear of supporting an organization that is willing to call out white supremacist attacks on our civil rights and speak truth to power.

This is a major setback - MAGA is trying to stop funders from supporting our work to train up new young organizers and fellows like our leaders at Temple University who recently saved their Africology and Gender Studies programs because they took action and pushed their college leaders to refuse MAGA orders to whitewash academia.

If we have to make the choice between our large donors’ fears of retaliation and the urgent need to combat white supremacy in this country, we are going to choose the latter every single time.

This foundation pulling its funding has been a big setback for us, so if there’s ever been a moment you can donate to us, now is the time. We’re trying to raise $5,000 today so that we can close the gap of this setback. Our movement is powered by supporters like you who believe in repair and equality for all. Donate $25 or whatever you can afford to ensure that we can continue to organize youth for repair, equality, and courage.
