Georgia Federation of Democratic Women believes in democracy, the power of women, and the tenacity of Georgia Democrats.
Announcing our upcoming Spring Meeting being held at The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, 1116 Phillips St., Augusta, GA, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, 9 am - 1:00pm. The Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History is a cultural institution dedicated to preserving the legacy of educator Lucy Craft Laney. Opened in 1991, it features exhibits on African American history, art, and the "Golden Blocks" area.
This meeting will focus on the election of a new GFDW Executive Board. We will also be celebrating the outgoing Board and hoping to see all GFDW chapters represented! Come cast your votes for the leaders who will lead us into 2028. Remember, our strength is in our federation!
There is a $40 fee for this meeting to help cover the cost of the location and lunch.
If you are interesting in riding a chartered bus from Metro Atlanta to Augusta, the cost is $45 and must be paid by April 8th. Email GFDW.ExcutiveBoard@gmail.com for more information.
