The Golden Gate Bridge March to End Gun Violence and National Wear Orange Day
Please WEAR Orange on June 2 and 3rd, JOIN our GG Bridge March on the historic GG Bridge on June 3rd (10am/SF side start, 10:30/Marin start), and SHOW your support by making a financial contribution to End Gun Violence.
We will be marching across the GG Bridge in support of the "Wear Orange" Campaign inspired by friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old Chicago student killed by gunfire just days after dancing in the President's Inaugural Parade.They decided to honor her life by wearing orange — the color hunters wear in the woods to say "see me" and "don't shoot." At events across the US, thousands of Americans will come together to #WearOrange and show their support for a future free from gun violence. This year, Moms Demand Action is running our first ever Wear Orange fundraising campaign to support our work to elevate the voices of survivors of gun violence, our BeSMART campaign to promote gun safety and prevent child gun deaths, and our ongoing efforts to train more gun sense activists.
