Thanks for joining us for this virtual celebration of the 52nd anniversary of George Romero’s original Night of the Living Dead and the 30th Anniversary of the 1990 version, directed by Tom Savini, who will be part of the event. It's a fundraiser for the Biden-Harris campaign and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
Actors featured in both films will join host Patrick Jordan and moderator Randy Kovitz, to read selected scenes, talk about their experiences making the films and answer viewer questions.
With clips, dramatic readings, stills, and audience participation, it's sure to be a "lively" night ... no "dead air" in this podcast!
Guests include:
- Tony Todd, prolific film actor and horror star (1990 version of Night Of The Living Dead),
- Billy Butler, well-known horror actor, writer and director, (1990 version of Night Of The Living Dead),
- Patricia Tallman, actor/Stuntwoman/Producer (1990 version of Night Of The Living Dead),
- Russ Streiner, actor and Chairman of the Board of the Pittsburgh Film Office board of Directors, (Johnny in the original version of the film and
- Lori Cardille, star of Romero’s Day of the Dead, will contribute and talk about her father, legendary Pittsburgh broadcaster Bill “Chilly Billy” Cardille.
