Without your help, ~~126~~ 100 people will be unlawfully sitting in prison for the ~~holidays~~ new year.

After being arrested for fleeing violence in their home country or just seeking work in ours, we need YOUR HELP to get them out of a Texas prison.

Each client was arrested by a state trooper for misdemeanor trespassing as a part of Operation Lone Star and then hauled to a Texas prison typically used for convicted felons to await trial. Most have been there for more than three months, unable to see their families and living in horrific conditions. Unless they plead guilty to a crime they did not commit, the state intends to keep them in prison until their trials are scheduled, which is likely months, if not years away.

While some judges were first following the law and letting some out to await trial, new judges have been appointed to coerce these migrants to accept a conviction that will impact them the rest of their lives and any immigration possibilities. Bonds for these political prisoners range from $1,000 to $15,000. Only with your help can they be free from the walls of a Texas prison before the holidays.

YOU can make it possible for them to reach federal immigration authorities and be on their way to asylum or deportation home. Either way, they will be home for the holidays.

All funds received here will only be used for paying the referenced 126 cash bonds. Any leftover funds from this campaign will be used for future client's cash bonds held per Operation Lone Star.
