Send Giselle to the School Committee

Committed to the City of Springfield, Giselle began her career in public service as a volunteer. Breaking the barriers was the calling. From becoming the first Latina elected to the Southend Citizen council to today serving on the McKnight Neighborhood Council. A 2017 recipientent of the Unsung hero Explianry Woman of the Community Award.
Most importantly, Giselle is a mother of six sons that are students in the Springfield Public Schools. Giselle is fearless advocating for her children to ensure they receive the best services and education possible. Giselle has not been afraid to challenge the education system and work with them collaboratively to formulate new ideas in support of her children as well as children like them. Because of her resiliency, she is raising growing young men academically and socially. You can trust that Giselle will apply those same values by serving on the Springfield School committee for all children. Giselle states “ My children will ensure that every vote cast will put kids first.”
