Living in an underserved community, with a lack of services, resources, is frustrating when its lacking because of inadequate representation. It's time for District 45 to have the right representation, someone who is able to look around and recognize that District 45 is suffering and who is willing to do something about it.
District 45 shouldn't be lacking and so far behind growing communities. We should have more affordable housing without the fear of being evicted after 30 days. We should have public transportation to allow access to employment opportunities. We should have the ability to choose internet providers and the ability to make payment plans on utility bills or property taxes without the fear of disconnection or losing our homes. Our children should be academically strong in comparison to children in other states and teachers should be paid their worth with incentives. Women have a right to be respected versus controlled. Women should be allowed reproductive rights to decide what happens to our bodies because it's "My Body My Choice." We should have a lot more but we don't. Not because its not obtainable but because the current representation is not concerned. District 45 deserves better.
