Post-Canvass Dance Party
Join us on April 12th at 4 pm for our first post-canvass Dance Party fundraiser! As I have often said, we will build this campaign with love and dance is one of the purest forms of communal joy that we have at our disposal, so let's use it. On April 12th, we will kickoff our first canvass starting at 10 am and then a second canvass at 1 pm. Anyone who has completed a canvass or phonebanking shift prior to this event will be automatically eligible to get on the guest list for the dance party. Everyone else will have to buy a ticket to get the location.
For those of you who haven't hit the dance floor to the DJ group, The Glitter Boys are professional party people that spin vinyl dance classics of the 70s and 80s every Friday at The Sinclair in Cambridge. I am also extremely grateful to have pulled them to Somerville after years of dancing to and conversation with them.

In keeping with our values, our campaign will reject money from:
- Fossil fuel executives, lobbyists, or PACs
- Those working for the carceral state (cops, constables, sheriffs, parole officers, ICE agents, etc)
- The charter school industry
- For-profit real estate developers (unlike the current mayor)
- Healthcare executives

Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
