Faizah Malik

Fundraiser for Faizah on March 19th!

Join Gabriel Gluskin-Braun and Mira Horwitz at Mira's film lab to celebrate Faizah Malik's campaign for City Council with a night of photography and fun!

Faizah is running for City Council in order to build an LA where families of all backgrounds and incomes can thrive. She believes when government works for everyday people, not corporations and billionaires we can:

  • Bring down costs of living;
  • Ensure abundant affordable housing; and
  • Expand opportunities for our kids.

Faizah’s vision for LA: diverse and inclusive communities with good jobs, quality education, beautiful green spaces, clean air and water, safe, walkable streets, a connected transit network, and thriving small businesses.

Faizah is a mom and resident of Venice. Born and raised in Southern California to South Asian Muslim immigrants, she has spent her career as a community lawyer fighting to protect renters, building more housing, and improving the lives of working families. Her decades of experience as an advocate, public interest attorney, and government attorney has prepared her to deliver the change our city needs.

This is a community-powered, clean money campaign - Faizah does not take  money from lobbyists, corporations, or the fossil fuels industry. This is why your support is critical in this election!
