Support Climate Candidates in Critical Downballot Races
2022 has been a major year for the climate. With Congress passing major climate legislation, we need to ensure we have state and local leaders in office to stand up to fossil fuels and continuing to push for bold action.
The candidates on this slate are some of the most critical for the climate going into the 2022 elections. They span from:
- Legislatures like Minnesota's are on the brink of passing major climate and energy policy and we just need to pickup a couple more champions to build climate majorities!
- Cities like Corpus Christi, TX are in the heart of the oil industry, but a new generation of candidates are running to protect public health and the environment.
- Up-and-down the ballot there are candidates who are running to move off of fossil fuels with Green New Deal solutions for their communities.
In this new phase of the fight for our future, we MUST turn to local elections (cities/states/utilities) to move off fossil fuels.
