Black Women for Wellness

Celebrating Black Beauty and Building a Movement to Transform the Toxic Beauty Industry: Go Green For Black Women

It’s time for a new conversation about toxic personal care products, harmful beauty standards, the unjust marketing practices of the multibillion dollar cosmetics industry and for centering the health of Black women in the movement for reproductive and environmental health and justice.

Your generous donation during this month will help to support Black Women for Wellness (BWW) vision with environmental justice work that includes increasing the awareness of clean/safer products available to women and girls, community members, supporting advocacy around eliminating toxic chemicals from personal and hair care products and household items, holding accountable the corporate practices and entities involved in this dyad and shifting culture toward a healthy world. Our work includes research, program and policy.

BWW knows that to shift culture, research and advocacy that supports policy change, demands accountability and creating new relationships with partners and allies is critical. BWW is seeking monetary support from organizations and brands that builds our capacity as team members, collaborators and fully engaged partners in building this movement. Your support allows for our organization, and internal team members have infrastructure, capacity and administrative support with mission work that continues the fight and advocates for environmental justice---for women and girls. We appreciate your financial support in an amount that you feel is just.
