Andrew Gonzales- more commonly known as “Mr. G” by his students- is a third-generation educator and fifth generation Austinite running for AISD District 6.
From fending off attacks on public health and historical truth in our schools, to the school to prison pipeline increasingly endangering the lives and futures of black and brown students, and our teachers and staff having to fight for the pay and respect they deserve, AISD is at a crossroads. Now is the time to elect a new generation of progressive leaders who are ready to bring logical solutions to the many challenges our community faces.
