Republicans just slammed through a so-called tax reform bill that’s actually a bailout for billionaires and big corporations. We had a real opportunity to prepare our country for the 21st century economy: by supporting small and innovative businesses, supporting teachers and education, investing in our future, improving our healthcare system, and making sure that corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share. Instead, Republicans chose to pass a tax scam that will raise taxes and give bailouts to billionaires and corporations. I was proud to vote against this terrible bill.
