There's been a horrific rise in hate crimes against Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders, fueled in part by the intolerance of Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress.

Just this week, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) used a hate crimes hearing -- called in the aftermath of six Asian-American women being brutally murdered in Atlanta -- to joke about lynching, and then go on a racist tirade about the Chinese.

Rep. Roy even claimed it was "Orwellian" to care about hate crimes against Asian-Americans!

Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY) has had enough. In an emotional speech, Rep. Meng ripped Roy for "putting a bull's eye on the back of Asian-Americans across this country."

Grace Meng is one of the unsung heroes of the Democratic party. While she’s a strong progressive, she’s from a more conservative district than many realize. She needs our help to remain a strong progressive voice in Congress.
