A major collaborative of 11 grassroots organizations in Chicago who do
sophisticated vote, issue, and organizing work. The Collaborative works
with community and labor
organizations as well as a broader network of allies to create change
for working people
in Chicago and Illinois. Current campaigns include pushing for revenue
based solutions to the budget crisis in Illinois through a progressive
tax system and financial reform that prioritizes working people, instead
of corporations and banks. Our recent work has brought demands for Wall
Street Accountability to the forefront and highlighted the role of
banks in the Illinois budget crisis.
Members include Action Now
