Green for Ward 7
The Green for Ward 7 Campaign is participating in the Fair Elections Program (FEP) which provides public financing for campaign operations within DC. FEP serves to encourage engagement with everyday citizens by matching all DC Resident small donor contributions 5:1; thus incentivizing greater civic engagement of smaller donors, and diminishing the outsize influence of big money and corporations in elections. This is truly a people-powered campaign.
Contribution rules
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am either a District of Columbia resident individual making a small-dollar contribution or a non-District of Columbia resident individual.
- I certify and affirm that this contribution is being made in my name and from my own funds.
- I am making this contribution voluntarily and I have not received anything of value in return for this contribution.
- I understand that making a false statement is a violation of the law.
- I hereby affirm that I was not, nor, to my knowledge, was anyone else, reimbursed in any manner for this contribution; that this contribution is not being made as a loan; and that this contribution is being made from my personal funds or my personal account, which has no corporate or business affiliation.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
