Leader. Fighter. Educator. Greg Jaczko, your champion in Congress.
Greg will fight for every Washingtonian to have the opportunity to thrive and flourish, from demanding D.C. residents have a prominent voice in Congress to restoring federal jobs and tackling rising energy prices.
D.C. Statehood is no longer just a goal—it is necessary for the survival of our self-government. Greg will be a relentless voice against congressional—and presidential—interference, demanding that D.C. residents control their own revenue and their own destiny. He will find the solution that finally brings full representation to D.C. residents.
The federal workforce is the backbone of D.C.’s economy and an important part of the city’s identity. But that workforce has been ravaged by reckless budget and job cuts and faces the existential threat of politicization. Greg is fighting to save federal jobs and to stop the lawlessness that seeks to replace expert public servants with political hacks.
The cost of energy has an outsized impact on the rest of the economy, and energy affordability is something Congress can address—or hinder. As a physicist, former top nuclear energy regulator and renewable energy developer, Greg understands why your energy bills are rising. D.C. families are being crushed by fossil fuel dependency and rampant data center expansion.
Greg is the son of an immigrant, raised with a deep respect for American ideals and public service. As chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission under President Barack Obama, he was a champion for workers and the public good. He is also a congressional veteran, as senior advisor to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, from whom he learned to fight. Greg is a Lecturer at Princeton University, working with and inspiring t
he next generation of leaders.
He is running to be a Leader in Congress who restores the promise and dignity of public service, a Fighter who stands against this unprecedented attack on our democratic way of life, and a Teacher who ensures your voice is heard and that you know what is really happening and ways you can fight back.
