An Afternoon with John Grisham
We’re excited to announce our October Fundraiser. Award winning author John Grisham will be joining us on October 8th to talk about politics, criminal justice, electing Democrats, and his new book - A Time For Mercy - not my election day philosophy but the title of John Grisham’s newest book, to be released Oct 13th. It’s a sequel to A Time to Kill and we’re lucky enough to have John as our guest speaker for DPVA’s last zoom fundraiser before the election.
Author, storyteller, humanitarian are just a few adjectives to describe John’s life and work. Click here to join us on Oct 8th and hear John talk about the election, criminal justice, his books or anything else he’d like to share.
Our VIP Reception will start at 2:00 PM, where the attendees will be able to chat with John in a more personal setting. VIP attendees will also receive a signed copy of A Time For Mercy!
Following the VIP Reception, the event will become open to the full audience and the conversation will continue.
