Make part of your New Year's Resolution donating to Our Climate, an environmental justice non-profit that empowers youth to advocate for climate justice policies.

Your donation supports us by providing the skills, experiences, and resources to effectively engage in climate justice advocacy efforts, we equip youth to become confident and capable lifelong environmental justice leaders. Our Climate’s leading objective is to empower the next generation of young leaders to effectively advance state and federal climate justice legislation, in order to sharply reduce greenhouse gas emissions, hold polluters accountable, and invest in frontline communities that are facing the consequences of the climate crisis first and worst.

A few of the accomplishments Our Climate is most proud of this year include:

  • Engaged youth throughout the country in art advocacy events such as: 10 youth unveiling our Manatee mosaic at the Florida capitol, 50 community members participating in Our Climate, Our Action Washington D.C. Earth day event, and 800 students at a Seattle High School who participated in workshops and creating a human mural which stated “Climate Action Now”.
  • Staff and youth leaders spoke at 13 events in 2023, reaching a combined audience of 400; highlights include one of our youth speaking at COP15 on a panel called “Including People With Chronic Illness and Disabilities in Wildlife Conservation”.
  • Mobilized 5,127 young people to take concrete action on climate justice.

We believe that climate policies must protect frontline communities most affected by the climate crisis. This means investing in frontline communities that are facing the interrelated burdens of racism, economic injustice, inadequate access to healthcare, and climate change.
