Gus Barkyoumb for High Bailiff - Clear and Accountable Oversight

My name is Gus Barkyoumb, a proud Chittenden County native, and I’m running for High Bailiff.

The High Bailiff is a little-known but essential role, responsible for stepping in and carrying out the duties of the Sheriff if they are unable to serve. It’s a position that ensures stability and accountability in our local law enforcement system.

I’m running because I understand the importance of this role and because I believe in the power of young leadership. At a time when our national politics feels distant and discouraging, we have a real opportunity to create meaningful change right here at the local level. This campaign is one step in that process.
