Gussie Lewis for Dane County Board

Hello, I’m Gussie Lewis, and I’m running for the Dane County Board of Supervisors.

My family and I have proudly called the DeForest community home for more than two decades. Like so many families here, we’ve built our lives around our schools, our neighborhoods, and the people who make this community what it is. Since 2021, I’ve had the honor of serving on the DeForest Area School District Board, working to support students, teachers, and staff and making sure families have a real voice in the decisions that affect them.

I’m running for County Supervisor in District 22 because working families deserve leadership that understands the realities of everyday life — balancing jobs, raising kids, and planning for the future. The DeForest-Windsor area needs someone who listens, shows up, and makes thoughtful decisions that strengthen our sense of community, improve our infrastructure, and protect the quality of life we all depend on.

That’s what this campaign is about: neighbors helping neighbors, investing in the things that matter most to families, and making sure county government works for the people who live here - not the other way around. Every contribution helps us reach more voters, share our message, and keep this a truly grassroots campaign focused on practical solutions and real results.
