Elect Deb Haaland as America's first Native American congresswoman

Goal thermometer

Deb Haaland, a single mom and member of the Pueblo of Laguna tribe, is the Democratic nominee for Congress in New Mexico's first congressional district, and if all goes well, she is set to become America's first Native American congresswoman this fall.

Haaland is a solid progressive who is pro-choice, pro-immigration, and a strong environmentalist who believes we need to fight climate change and create a clean energy economy.

While her district is considered solidly Democratic, Haaland's election would be so historic that it's worth throwing her some support just to be sure.
